Professionals 

Professionals, volunteers and staff who meet vulnerable adults in the course of their work have a particular role to play in safeguarding.

• You should be able to recognise vulnerable adults and potentially abusive situations
• You should share your concerns with appropriate people

Managers must additionally:

• Ensure that staff are trained to recognise abuse and are supported to report concerns
• Ensure that the Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults multi-agency policy and procedures are adopted and form part of your organisation's internal procedures
