Practice guidelines for CYP professionals
.jpg)
The practice guidelines are designed to support practitioners to complete a Common Assessment Framework (CAF) and to use the early intervention procedure. They reinforce what has been covered on the CAF training course.
These guidelines explain how Information Sharing, the Common Assessment Framework, Lead Professional and the other integrated processes fit together to support children and young people.
They are relevant to schools, practitioners and hospital staff, mental health and outreach workers, adult services (where there is a child in the family), 3rd sector, police, midwives, children's centers, substance misuse agencies, housing and leisure staff, youth offending services, community safety, and any other agency that works with children and young people or with adults who are parents.
