Local delivery funding

The new process covers bids up to £50,000 and includes bids for Extended Services, Early Years & Childcare and Area Based Grants held by Commissioning.

Organisations and projects need to evidence how outcomes for children and / or young people will be improved and how they will reach children and young people who do not ordinarily access mainstream services.

Evidence of consultation and the support of a development officer are both essential for bids to be considered.

All bids will be considered by a multi agency panel who will consider the bid against set criteria which are laid out in the document below. The panel will meet bi-monthly and funding will be awarded on the basis of clear evidence that the project will meet an identified need and will not go into direct competition with an existing service.
