Changing font size
Please use the AAA link in the banner at the top of each page.
Moving around
We have tried to make navigating around the site as easy as possible, but you might find the suggestions below useful.
You can move to different pages by using the menu bar on the left of each page. Move your cursor over the titles and it will be highlighted. You can then click your mouse to go to that page.
Keyboard shortcuts – we have set up keyboard shortcuts to help users navigate the site. For example, pressing 'Alt' and 1 will return you to the home page. For more details see Access keys below.
The ‘breadcrumb trail’ at the top of the page shows where you are in the site. You can click on the links within the trail to move.
You can return to the home page of the site by clicking on the Buckinghamshire Partnerships logo, at any time, or select ‘Home’ in the breadcrumb trail below the banner. To return to the home page of the particular partnership site, select the name from the left navigation or from the breadcrumb trail.
At the bottom of each page you may see:
- Contact details for more information
- Related pages - further information available on our website
- Other useful websites - relevant information available on external websites (these will open in a new window so you don't lose your place on our site)
Opening a link in a new window or tab
Opening links in a new window or tab lets you explore links on our site without losing your current page. This saves having to use the back button many times to return to your starting point.
You can open links in a new window by holding down 'Shift', or in a new tab by holding down 'Control' as you click the link. Alternatively, right-click a link (Mac users ‘Apple-click') and select ‘open in new window’ or ‘open in new tab’.
Access keys
All site functions can be accessed using the keyboard only. Shortcut keys allow fast navigation to important pages. We follow UK government recommendations for access key assignments.
Access keys work when pressed in combination with other keys. The combination depends on which browser you are using.
PC: Internet Explorer 5+, PC: Netscape 6 and Mozilla Firefox
Hold down Alt and press the access key. Alt + left arrow takes you back to the previous page (as does the browser back button)
Mac: Internet Explorer 5+
Hold down Ctrl and press access key
