The Newly Qualified Social Worker programme supports social workers in their first year of employment, providing extra support and training against a set of outcome statements.
In Buckinghamshire County Council NQSW's can expect:
- 10% reduced caseload
- Protected time to attend Monthly workshops throughout the academic year
- Protected time to complete the outcome statements
- Supporting materials for NQSW's and their supervisors
After the NQSW Scheme employees will progress onto the Early Professional Development programme (EPD).
