The EPD programme has been designed to build on the NQSW scheme and develop skills to manage more complex cases through:
- Ongoing training and support for social workers in years two and three after qualifying
- Dedicated time for professional development and supervision of EPD candidates
- Supporting materials for EPD supervisors
