In addition to holding and maintaining details of designated sites, priority BAP habitats and wildlife records for Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes, BMERC offers a number of services to professional consultants, recorders and the general public:
Data Search Requests
We supply biodiversity information for a particular site in the form of lists, reports and maps. Refer to our Data Searches page for details.
Recording Group administration
We maintain mailing lists for Bucks Invertebrate Group, Bucks Rare Plant Recording Group and Bucks Earth Heritage Group as well as our own mailing list and egroup.
Loan of Equipment
We have a small range of survey and display equipment - GPS devices, Longworth traps, display screens etc. - which we can lend to local groups or individuals on request. Contact us for details.
Small Grants
We have a small fund under which individuals and groups can apply for help with costs connected with wildlife recording in Bucks. See the application form for details.
Recorders' Seminar
We arrange this annual free all-day event for local recorders in Spring.
